CHIR. Qui ne peut être opéré. Anomalie, tumeur inopérable; cancer, blessé, malade inopérable. Un pied bot inopérable (BOURGET, Sens mort, 1915, p. 5). La maladie est encore trop souvent diagnostiquée à un stade avancé et donc inopérable (QUILLET Méd. 1965, p. 140).
